Tips to Keep Beverages Cool while Saving Electricity

During summer expect that our electricity bill gets high and there's nothing new about that. Demand on electricity was also high and that's the reason. It seems that saving electricity was difficult to achieve specially to us store owners that uses refrigerators or freezer to give the best cold beverages to our valued customers.
I personally use a freezer and refrigerator as of now. There is no doubt that it was the reason why my bill keeps on increasing. So, I have to do something that would lessen the electricity consumption while I make sure my customer will get a cold beverage weather it's soft drinks, juices or bottled water.

Here are my simple Tips to Keep Beverages Cool

  • Use extra cooler where you can put the cold soft drinks, juices, mineral water or even beers. If you can make the drinks frozen before putting it inside the cooler, the better. In this way you can preserve the coldness longer.
cooler for keeps
Ang cooler na ito ang siyang ginamit ko  noong nagsisimula pa lang ako magbenta ng mga softdrinks. Hanggang ngayon ay katuwang ko parin siya :)

  • Make sure that the cooler you'll be using was no spaces for the coldness wont escape.
  • You can use tube ice or block of ice as your refrigerator's alternative. Before, I only use cooler because we do not have refrigerator yet.  I have to go to the nearest store where I can buy ice for cooler.  Slightly hard but I have no choice. You can still choose to put a cloth inside or not.
  • You have the option If you want to add water on the cooler together with the ice for faster cold result.
  • Take the summer heat advantage by selling tube ice too. Tube ice is the best partner in making juices or just making a cold water. If the tube ice melts, don't worry just save it so you can put another bottle of drinks using the melted cold water. You can also recycle the melted water on your comfort room or other stuff. lol

Shake it Trick

Sometimes when there are so many customers, your stock of drinks were not enough so you have to replace another. You have to wait a few minutes or even hour to have a new batch of cold beverages. Because of the summer heat many customers will demand at least a cold bottled water. You can do a simple shake it trick If the drink was inserted for about 20 minutes on the refrigerator. This will result to the mineral bottled water to spread the coldness proportionally so you can serve it to your customer. The shake it trick was not applicable carbonated soft drinks.

These simple tips might help you lessen the times you open the fridge and might help you also to save electricity.
