You can apply for Eon card through the nearest branch or through online. I prefer to choose online application because it's convenient.
Here are the simple steps on how to apply for Eon Visa debit card online.
1. Go to UnionBank's Eon page at http://www.unionbankph.com/personal/debitcards/cards/eon.
2. Fill out their Online Application Form. You will receive an SMS notification of your reference number and selected UnionBank pick-up branch after filling out the application. Don't forget to take note this information. you will present this when applying on branch.
3. Visit your selected branch and present your reference number to the UnionBank's personnel.
4. Submit your requirements. Prepare your P350 annual fee, photocopy of 2 valid ID's with the original copy and proof of billing. If you will use this to verify your Paypal, tell to the personnel that you will use it for verification and prepare P200 that will be fund in your account.

5. Congratulations! you can have you Eon Visa debit card. You can start your desired transaction like linking your paypal, mobile and online banking.
Their application process was really fast. I remembered when I apply for Eon card at around 4:00 AM, after filling up the application I received the text notification and email containing the reference number, branch and also the accepted IDs. I go to the nearest branch on that day also for around 10:00 AM. Just provide all the necessary requirements so there will be no problem on applying. I submit barangay clearance and postal id. The personnel assist me was very helpful and accommodating. A few minutes, viola! I receive my card. She advised me that the card will be activated within 24 hours and change my pin after I've done my first withdrawal.
